There are a few other fees that may be collected by the hotel. The best way to make sure you are not surprised by any fees is to contact us or call the hotel directly to see if they have any additional fees.
Types of Fees Include:
Resort fees
In some locations, the resorts have additional fees that must be paid directly at the resort. This can be a state law, ex. Nevada, or it may just be the hotel policy. If you are unsure of the resort fee, please contact customer support or the hotel directly. Hotel Resort fees are charged no matter where you book the reservation.
Parking Fees
If you are driving to the hotel, some hotels will not include parking with the room. Please check directly with the hotel to see if there is a parking fee.
Minibar Fees
There are a number of different fees associated with minibars — even if you never eat or drink any of the goodies inside. Picking up an item and putting it back can trigger the minibar’s sensors, immediately adding the price of the item to your bill. On sensitive machines, even jostling minibar items as you add your own food to the fridge can incur a charge. And if you try to avoid the hassle entirely by calling ahead and asking the minibar to be emptied before your arrival, beware — you could be charged a “restocking” fee.
When you make a reservation and you are not sure if an additional fee is applicable, please contact us at customerservice@hotelogical.com, or 855 422 2992 or even on our chat, and we will be happy to offer the correct answer for you.
