There are many different room types that you may see while searching for a hotel. Below I have tried to cover some of the more standard types to help clarify what will be included for you stay.
Room Types
Standard or Run of the House – Hotels will over these room types to have flexibility with their room inventory. What this means is that you will have a room at check in however, they cannot guarantee any room configuration, ex. King Bed, or Double Queens.
Double Standard Room – This "double" is denoting the occupancy as it is made for two adults. Most cases this is a great fit for a couple or group that do not mind sharing one Queen or King bed. You may request two beds for a double by contacting the hotel after purchase, but there will be no guarantee. If you require two beds orientation, you are best booking an option that denotes the number of beds being reserved.
Twin Standard Room – A "twin" room is similar the standard room except it will have two beds. While it will include two beds, there is no guarantee on size of the beds. You should contact the hotel to see what type of 2 bed arrangements are available. Most of the time, this will be two standard beds.
Triple Standard Room – A "triple" room is made to fit three adults. Again, the arrangement of the room may vary. For example, this could be 1 queen bed with a sofa sleeper or this may be two double beds. The choice is left to the hotel based on availability.
If there are other room types you have questions about, please feel free to reach out at anytime!
